About Littlefield ISD
Littlefield ISD serves Littlefield, Texas, and is located on Highway 84 and 385. Littlefield ISD serves pre-K through 12th grade. The district is comprised of 4 separate campus buildings throughout the city limits.
Our community is based in agriculture surrounded by cotton, grain, sorghum, corn, wheat, and soybeans. Several local dairies also reside in the district along with a new state-of-the-art milk processing plant.
Bully and Threat Prevention
Bullying is prohibited by the district and could include hazing, threats, taunting, teasing, assault, demands for money, confinement, destruction of property, theft of valued possessions, name-calling,and rumor-spreading. In some cases, bullying can occur through electronic methods, called cyberbullying. If a student believes that he or she has experienced bullying or has witnessed bullying of another student, it is important for the student or parent to notify a teacher, counselor, principal, or another district employee as soon as possible. The administration will investigate any allegations of bullying and will take appropriate disciplinary action if an investigation indicates that bullying has occurred. Disciplinary or other action may be taken even if the conduct did not rise to the level of bullying.
In accordance with HB 1942 and Board Policy FFI (LOCAL), campus administrators will conduct an appropriate investigation based on bullying or threat allegations. Littlefield ISD has an online reporting process that can be accessed on the District Report it Page or any of the individual campus Report It pages. This report can be anonymous, but all reports will be investigated by District personnel.
Please know that a student who intentionally makes a false claim, offers false statements, or refuses to cooperate with a District investigation regarding bullying shall be subject to appropriate disciplinary action.
