The Board of Trustees consists of seven board members elected to serve, without compensation, for overlapping terms.

The board is charged with the responsibility of providing the finest educational program possible for the students in the Littlefield Independent School District, operating within the legal parameters of the state and federal constititutions, statutes, courts, and administrative agencies.

Our school board is the means by which our district establishes its vision and goals and is vital to the mission of educating children.  Trustees and our superintendent have unique roles whee school board policy is concerned.  You can click the link below to view the board policy for LISD.

The regular business meetings of the Board of Trustees are open to the public and are usually scheduled for 7:00 pm on the third Thursday of each month.  During the months of September, October, and November meetings will be on the third Tuesday.  Please call 806-385-4150 extension 1000 to confirm.

Meetings are located in the boardroom of the Littlefield ISD Administration Building located at 1207 East 14th Street, Littlefield, Texas.
